First Reconciliation

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins
and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

The Sacrament of Reconciliation, also known as Confession or Penance, is a beautiful expression of the infinite mercy and love that God has for all of us. 

The Sacrament is typically first celebrated in 2nd grade, but can be at any time.  The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a pre-requisite to making First Holy Communion.  Preparation begins in the fall and the Sacrament is celebrated in November.  Children need to register to be part of the sacramental preparation process within the Holy Cross AFC.
